When your wedding party list has already been filled and you still have friends you want to involve in the wedding celebration, here are some more wedding tasks you can assign to friends:

During your wedding, a lot of things happen and many factors are just as important as the other — the venue, the wedding flowers, the wedding reception, the food, etc. There is a lot more to a wedding than these. When your wedding party list has already been filled and you still have friends you want to involve in the wedding celebration, here are some more wedding tasks

you can assign to friends:

Wedding Ushers

You may have ushers for the wedding ceremony and a separate group of ushers for the wedding reception. This way, your wedding ushers won’t be too overwhelmed by the amount of work to be done, especially if you are expecting hundreds of guests.

Guest Book Attendant

This is among the tasks that can be assigned to a friend who was not enlisted in the wedding party but still wishes to help just the same. The guest book attendant will urge the guests to sign the wedding guest book and write a short message for the

couple if they like. This is one of those underrated but important tasks in a wedding.

Confetti/ Seed/ Petal Attendants

Another task that can be done by friends of the bride and groom is to hand out bags of bird seed, rice, petals, or bubbles (whatever the couple intends to be whisked) after the ceremony. This can be delegated to one or two people, depending on the number of guests attending the wedding.

Scripture readings

If your wedding ceremony includes a lot of scripture reading portions, assign these to several of your friends. This is another way you can make your friends feel special on this important part of your grand day.

Car decorating

This is a perfect task for a those friend who aren’t ushers and would prefer not to stand in the receiving line. They can decorate the bridal car for you. This may even save you some extra bucks in your florist budget.
