Sapphire Princess Cruise Review

Princess Cruises is one of the largest ships that cruise the Pacific, offering cruise vacation tours along the Inside Passage and Seattle. Its major destinations include Alaska, British Columbia, Los Angeles, Hawaii, and the Caribbean.

Hailed as one of the largest cruise ships in the world, the Sapphire Princess navigates smoothly through the seas. Travelers will have lots to enjoy within its three-deck atrium alone, not to mention the sights to see having to walk from end to end during the cruise.

Guests can select from four specialty restaurants offering themed menu such as grilled food, Italian cuisine, a variety of premiums

steaks, and other others. Casual dining is also available on board such as the Horizon Court which also offers 24-hour room service.

Once or twice a day, full-production performances are held at the Princess Theater while the Explorer's Lounge offers other entertainment shows such as comedy, magician acts, cabaret, and dances. For night entertainment, Club Fusion serves its purpose well which functions either as a nightclub, TV Trivia and game show venue, and cabaret room. Pub goers can choose from P&O Princess or Crooners Bar which also features a pianist who can play requested tunes.

For late night entertainment, the Skywalker's Club at Beck 18 is the place to be to dance the night away.

Spa facilities are on Deck 15 which houses the Lotus Spa, where guests are pampered in the massage rooms or the beauty salon. Fitness facilities such as the gym, lap pool, and aerobic rooms are also available for guests to use.

Can't get enough of swimming? The Sapphire Princess has five swimming pools including the Calypso Pool and Bar which is inside a dome, Neptune's Reef - the outdoor pool, children's pool, and eight whirlpools where guests can soak their worries away.

Out of the 1,337 cabins, a thousand of these provides an ocean view and a third of these rooms feature balconies. When it's time to retire to the cabins, guests can still enjoy cable TV shows on their cozy beds in their fully furnished rooms complete with refrigerators, safes, hair dryers, multifunction phones, sofa, and hot tubs.
